When God uses fearless Canadian Truckers because His Church's leaders are cowards

Immediate Disclaimer - for all pastors and churches that did not shut down during COVID, and for leaders who have spoken with clarity against the unlawful mandates, against the toxic "vaccines" that have already caused countless global injuries and deaths, this post is NOT for you . You are my heroes. You have been walking in TRUTH and doing what Jesus wanted/wants His Church to be doing. This post is for the cowards who wouldn't speak up. Who didn't do their homework when they began to hear about how unsafe ALL the shots were/have been/are/will be! Who have ignored the fact that EVERY SINGLE so-called vaccine used aborted fetal cells either in their development or their testing - yes, ALL OF THEM! You need to repent. You need to admit that you were deceived. For whatever reason, you failed to speak with prophetic clarity as to the hour we have been in/are in - and you have tragically led many others astray - either directly or due to your silence. Your unwillingness ...

Faith Trumps Fear in 2022 - Let us BELIEVE

Actually, FAITH always trumps fear...but this is definitely something that God is underlining/highlighting right now. There has been far too much fear dominating the Body of Christ globally. The fear has taken many different forms - from the fear of a virus that 99.83% of the people who contracted it survived without treatment, to the fear produced by the global political/financial developments and uncertainties, to the fear of the so-called "vaccine" (which they are NOT) mandates.  Everything has been and is being exposed. Who actually HAD faith? What do Christians believe about God's protection and His promises of healing? What about His promises to provide for His people? Everything has been shaken. And the glorious thing is that we KNOW that the testing of our faith produces something. It produces endurance.  What does James say?  Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,   for you know that the testing of your faith pr...

FEAR EXTINGUISHING in 2022

I don't think the Lord could have spoken a more relevant word to us, to His Church, at the beginning of Covid than the word to go and "EXTINGUISH FEAR" in the lives of the people we would interact with.  I've shared this thought before, but it was in God's infinite wisdom that instead of just giving us a task, a mandate, during Covid, He actually intended to keep us free of any and all fear.  As we now enter into our 3rd year since this thing began to infect the planet back at the start of 2020, the mandate has not changed. God's people are to always live free from fear.  As it has been said, the commandment "Do not fear" is found something like 365 times in the Bible (I don't know if that is a scientific number as I've never counted).  The only way we were able to do that was to do the things God's commanded us to be doing - to meet together IN PERSON. To minister to each and every person we can with the truth of the Gospel and God's...

The Gospel has been penetrating Bhutan!

For a long time, Bhutan was one of the most closed nations in the world. The majority of its people are Tibetan Buddhists. Tibetan Buddhism is by far the most resistant form of Buddhism to the Gospel. It is truly dark, demonic, and full of real satanic power.  It is still very closed...but God is working in Bhutan like at no other time in its history. We started to hear about Bhutan from friends who had a heart to reach the nation and who had taken some trips and were partnering with local Bhutanese believers. I had met a couple of them in the U.S. But then Bhutanese started arriving in the Middle Eastern nation we live in - much like the Nepalis who started arriving 15 years ago, many are not Christians. But 15 years later, I would say most of the Nepalis we know have become Christians and there are numerous Nepali churches now all around the world! It is now happening in the same way with the Bhutanese.  When we first started meeting Bhutanese nationals, there were almost no...

Have Protestants failed to teach/model "the priesthood of all believers"??

This post is about something that has bothered me for years and recently has been only been highlighted/underlined even further. 500 years ago the Protestant Reformation was partly about the "priesthood of all believers"! The clergy/laity distinction had gotten to a place where ordinary believers were viewed as "second class" - having less access to God. Only special believers, the ordained priests, and bishops were able to pray for people. And don't get me wrong - I believe in the ordained ministry. I am ordained.  But here is my PROBLEM. I pray for a lot of people. My wife prays for a lot of people. The people in our community pray for a lot of people. And I get the most annoying question asked to me all the time. When I offer to pray for people, and they are Christians (or from a Christian background), the next question I inevitably get is this, "Are you a pastor?" WHY in the world would a Christian ask another Christian if they are a pastor for off...

FOLLOW UP - "Are you a man of God"? - and then praying for a man from Zimbabwe

This morning, I received this message from the young man from Cameroon who I prayed with last week about his high blood pressure. "Goodmorning ...David. I'm Calvin from the P... Hotel. Since ... that day you prayed for me. My health condition has been rapidly improving. I celebrate the Grace of God over your life, sir." I wrote back, "Rejoicing in your recovery!" His reply...."Amen, Amen, Amen" (with a dancing emoji) I shared this testimony right after receiving it with a man from Zimbabwe who was getting my coffee at Starbucks.  I asked how I could pray for him and he told me that due to COVID he and his wife had been separated now for two years (also from his young children).  I prayed that Jesus would make a way for them to be together - either here, or in Zimbabwe, or somewhere else.  He was so encouraged. As I was leaving he said, "You made my day!" My theology is this..."There is no way that when a Spirit-filled Christian prays for...

"Are you a man of God"? (Divine Appointment)

While walking past a man working in a hotel, the Holy Spirit highlighted him. I noticed he was NOT wearing his face mask properly and that made me happy! (I hate the useless masks). After getting my coffee at Starbucks, I came back to him and asked where he was from - he was from Cameroon. I knew the Lord had something for him and so I just asked directly, "How can I pray for you?" His eyes lit up and he asked if we could talk privately and took me back around a corner where we could be alone. He then asked me, "Are you a man of God"?  I told him I was and asked what he needed.  He explained that he needed 'healing' - he said he had high blood pressure and was taking medication. He was very young.   So I was able to have a time of prayer with him for his healing. I don't know if I have ever prayed for someone who was more receptive - lots of "Thank you, Lord Jesus", "Yes, Holy Spirit", "I receive it" came out of his mouth. I...
