Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim touched by God's power and revelation in the Middle East

This blog began as a place where testimonies of God's power have been shared. This is one of those vintage types of stories/testimonies.

We are currently in the Middle East for a visit while out to eat with some dear friends of ours, God began to speak to us about our server (a Buddhist from Bhutan). A word of knowledge about a problem in her knee is what got us started. The word was actually NOT RIGHT as her problem was in her feet. But getting a word of knowledge wrong doesn't hinder what God wants to do!

My wife prayed for her 2 times - one foot began to tingle under God's power and after the 2nd prayer so did her other hurting foot. The Lord healed her from the pain and discomfort she had been feeling for a long time. She gave us her number before we left and all the pain was still gone. She knew a lot of Christians as many in her country are now following Christ. And now she had had an encounter with Jesus herself!

Another one of the servers was an Indian Hindu. When we first walked in, I had asked her about a word of knowledge that the Lord had given me. When I explained what it was and that God wanted to heal someone, she began to tell us that her mother back in India was a "Reiki Master" and also did Tarot readings. She asked about the 'kind' of healing we did - we told her it was DIVINE HEALING in Jesus' Name. She seemed to have a bit of a wall up at that point but later that all changed. 

While we were eating, I got a word of knowledge for the woman's Reiki Master mother. The Lord showed me that when she did her Reiki healing, she would get pain in the left side of her head. I found the Indian woman again and she came over to our table. She confirmed that in fact when her mother did her 'energy healing' that she would in fact get headaches. I explained that the affliction she would get was demonic. Our friends who we were eating with from India spoke the language that her mother spoke. They exchanged numbers. We trust they can connect with the mother back in India to pray a prayer of the deliverance and to share with her that the demonic counterfeit healing of Reiki needs to be replaced by her coming to Christ and becoming someone who heals the sick by the Power of the Holy Spirit!

My wife offered to pray for this woman and as she prayed she was touched by God's power. She began to tear up. Always a good sign!

We shared with her that our friend who was going to follow up with her mother could also interpret dreams. This discussion ended up being something extremely significant as we would soon learn.

Behind us, a Gulf Arab Muslim woman was sitting by herself. I got a word of knowledge that she had a left knee problem. I also sensed that she would be very open if my wife would offer to minister to her.  

She only spoke limited English so my wife spoke with her in Arabic. She explained the word of knowledge and why God revealed such things. She said she LOVED such things - healing. Sadly, her exposure was through New Age mysticism (even as a Muslim woman). She was into Hindu meditation and Yoga. 

She prayed for her and her pain was significantly less. She gave the woman her number and was 

Back to the dream interpretation stuff - This Muslim woman had heard our discussion about dream interpretation (and she wasn't that close to our table and her English was poor) and was hoping she could somehow talk to us! 

What an incredible Divine Appointment! The Lord brings this confused (New Age stuff) Muslim woman to the restaurant we were in (and she came alone which is very unusual) and the Lord highlights her through a word of knowledge and a prophetic sense that she would be open (which she was to an incredible degree).

Pray she follows up and contacts my wife - who hopes to meet with her in the next couple of days. 

In the end of our time at the restaurant, God's Kingdom was experienced by a Buddhist, a Hindu, and a Muslim. Jesus is Lord!!!
