partnering with words of knowledge and healing

yesterday morning, we were going to have to leave Church early so we wouldn't be around for the ministry time. one of the ministry team asked me to "write down any words you get". I took a few minutes and dialed down to see what the Lord would say. I wrote down a few words. One of them was about a right eye with pain on the far right side. last night when we were meeting, I learned that the man with this particular problem came to the ministry time. He had the exact problem - and some vision loss I understand. The team prayed for him and by the time he left he testified that the problem was 60% better. I'm looking forward to meeting this man next week so we can pray again and see the Lord finish the work He began. I am reminded of Paul's words, "one plants, another waters BUT God causes the growth". It is great to partner in the things of the Kingdom!

prophetic word as muslim women "test me"

the same women who received prayer from my friends the other night had "put me to the test" at one point. as I was explaining the way God spoke to me concerning emotional pain, one of them asked, "was I married before?". The other one had been divorced. She was testing me to see "what I could see". Almost immediately after she asked me, this sentence drops into my mind - "you were engaged before but it was broken off". I spoke it out. She was absolutely silent and put her head down. I guess God had wanted to get her attention - this was part of what the Lord used to open the door so my friends could pray for them a little later.

muslim women receive prayer after words of knowledge

last night I was going back to follow up a bit with the muslim man whose deaf ear had opened two weeks ago. I had had an appointment to meet a couple of his friends a few nights ago, and they didn't show up. (It ended up that the only man with my phone number was sick that night). when I walked into the office, there were two Egyptian muslim women in the office - almost immediately the Lord gave me a couple of words of knowledge (1 Cor 12:8) - a stomach problem on the left side, and emotional deadness. I just boldly asked them. One had one of the problems and the other (a more religious muslim) had the other. There was some initial resistance from her, but eventually the testimony of my other muslim friend (who told her about the deaf ear) made her a bit more open for prayer. I told her that my friend and his wife would come (they were downstairs with our blind friend). they came and prayed for this woman and the Lord began to touch her - as first, the was resistant. BUT, th

ministering to the blind

last night we were back visiting with a Palestinian muslim man who lost his site. I'll say this up front - so far he has not regained his sight. We continue to contend. However, last night we got to share with him that the same night we met him, the Lord opened the deaf ear of another muslim man (about 50 feet from his office). His faith was strengthened by the testimony. We prayed for him two times last night - a team of us prayed for an extended time. The 2nd time was particularly powerful. I had shared that I believed the Lord really wanted to release His compassion as we prayed. Two of the team praying ended up weeping during that second prayer session. It was powerful - and it was particularly powerful for an Arab muslim man who'd NEVER experienced anything like that before. The Lord opened a huge door to share the Gospel in a deep way - the need for the Cross, the atoning work of Christ and the Nature of His Kingdom. Jesus has knit our hearts together with this p
