Bahraini Muslim DOESN'T want to be healed!

driving though La Jolla and see a guy on crutches with two other guys. as we pass by, I hear them speaking Arabic (I knew they must be Saudis!). I stopped the car, went up and sure enough - 2 Saudis, 1 Bahraini. The Bahraini guy had broken his foot. I asked him if I could pray for his foot to be healed. He politely declined. I explained to him that Gulf Arab Muslims come to my house in the Middle East all the time for healing. He kept declining. I then explained that I was a Christian and it was incumbent upon us to pray for the sick and injured. He still said no. I shared some testimonies. Still not interested. That was how it ended which to be honest is not the normal response we get from Muslims. These guys were religious or anything.

at one point he said, "Allah heals all diseases". Tragically, that is not only NOT true, he has never seen healing and won't within Islam. Today God brought some Christians to him to actually demonstrate to him In Jesus' Name what he was claiming to believe, but he hobbled away on his crutches unhealed.

Very sad. All this in La Jolla, California. So many Saudis visiting California right now (I am seeing them EVERYWHERE). Offer them the Kingdom when you see them!

God's Kingdom breaks in at the pier - training/equipping others

one of the craziest things that happened on Friday night was a group of other Christians who were watching us minister and came to learn from us.  It was like we had a small "school of supernatural ministry" in public with prayers for impartation and everything.  it was just such an honor to share testimonies and just release what we carried to a young group of budding Power Evangelists who God sovereignly led to us.

God is good!!!

God's kingdom breaks in at the pier - touching muslims

As we continued to walk around looking for people who needed a touch from God, I met a young muslim couple (he was Turkish, she was Persian).  The Lord gave me a word of knowledge about a back problem and he had some issues with scoliosis.  I was able to lead him through some forgiveness issues and prayed for his back to be straightened.  He felt the presence of God's Spirit in his back.  Of course an x-ray would be needed to verify what God did.  I was also able to pray for his wife who had some stomach issues.  in the end, I also got a word of knowledge for arthritis, which was for the young man's mother who was just about to come and visit.  I asked if I could put a "gift of healing" in his hands to take to his mother.  He agreed and I prayed that when he laid his hands on his mother's arthritic hands, and pray in Jesus' Name that God was going to touch her.  I was also able to talk to the muslim woman about dealing with demonic issues by calling on the Name of Jesus.  This couple was very close to entering the Kingdom.

God's kingdom breaks in at the pier

a group of us headed out on Friday night to see what the Lord would do as we directed God's love OUTWARD at a popular beach/pier.  the healings began BEFORE we even got to our destination.  while walking from our car to the pier to meet our group, one of the guy's got a word of knowledge for an Irish young man's neck.  I was already talking to him about my love and admiration for the great St. Patrick, and then he's shocked that God would reveal his problem.  We prayed for him and all the pain left.  He was so grateful.  Later in the evening, I caught up with him again and he grabbed me asking me to pray for him one more time (I guess there was still a small amount of pain) and ALL the pain left.

while getting a coffee, the Lord gave a word of knowledge for the employee's knee.  I asked if she had a knee problem, she said, "I might".  She was putting me to the test.  I then asked if it was her right knee.  She replied, "It depends".  I asked if she wanted to be healed.  Same response.  She was both intrigued but also wanted to know what we were "selling".  I then instructed her to put her own hand on her knee and I prayed for about 10 seconds.  She thanked me.  I told her that the knee would not be a problem any more.

when we finally got to where we were supposed "to start", we met up and head out again.  I walked up to a couple of skateboarders and a guy on a bike.  I asked if anybody had any pain, any injuries.  The two skaters said no (surprisingly for street skaters), but the biker had some issues and told us that his right knee was hurting at that moment from an accident.  I had his skateboarder friend put his hand on the knee and I prayed a quick prayer.  The knee was completely pain free after just a few seconds.  How do we know he was healed?  His response was classic.  He was so shocked, asking us "what did you just do?".  It was so God.  The girl who was with us stayed and shared more about Christ with these three young men for a long time and even invited them to Church.  We LOVE doing evangelism this way - someone gets touched by God's power AND THEN we talk.  If only more of God's people would rethink their evangelism!
