Ireland - Day 4 (part 3) - Into the Night

Tonight is the night in Ireland when all the teenagers who have finished exams head out to party all night long in the streets of the major cities.  A group of us headed out to see what God would do in the midst of the absolute chaos - drunken brawls, carousing and just a very sad scenario for me, as a parent of two teenagers to witness. God however had some crazy appointments for us and here are some of the highlights.  At one point, I was drawn into a pub with one of the YWAMers that was in the city on their outreach phase.  The name of the pub was "Vicartown" and since I am a Vicar, I knew God wanted to do something.  As I walked in, in addition to one of my favorite Smiths songs being played, I got a word of knowledge for one of the employees who had an injured hand/fingers.  I inquired and sure enough one of them had that exact problem, but they weren't on duty at the time.  I laid my hand on another of the server's hand and released a gift of heali...

Ireland - Day 4 (part 2) - prepare yourselves!

We returned to the city of Cork and the atmosphere just felt different. We went to lunch and got some words of knowledge and were able to pray in the restaurant. We went to a Christian bookshop/coffee shop and got to pray for more people there. Then a couple with us went into a barber shop after Isaac of Ninevah had an impression that we were supposed to go in there. One of the employees was radically healed of an elbow condition and was so thankful to Jesus for what He had done! Then the Lord opened up for us one of the most significant experiences I have ever had praying for people on the streets anywhere in the world. We were with a Christian man in his 70's who had lived his entire life in Cork. He had given his life for the sake of the Gospel in this city. He had been with us the night before in a renewal meeting that we did and wanted to join us on the streets. He told us of the renewal that hit the Church back in the 1970's and how it eventually waned. He...

Ireland - Day 4 (part 1)

Today was a day of radical contrasts. In one city, we could hardly get anyone to even receive prayer for their healing. It was such a dark, hard place. It didn't seem to matter who we talked to, from visitors to locals, and other nationalities. It was a HARD place to release the Kingdom. At one point, I spotted a local man (in his 20's) with a broken arm and a full cast on it. He was clearly intoxicated and walking up to different groups of people (asking for money presumably) I walked up to where he was with a group of other men (that he had approached) and asked him, "What happened to your arm?". He looks at me and replays, "F_ _ _ my arm!". I told him that I just wanted to help him and he makes a fist with his other arm and comes at me and swings at my face! He missed horribly as he was so drunk, and slow that I just took a step back and was out of way. It was just so demonic. To get that kind of reaction when all I was doing was asking him ...

Ireland - Day 2 (part 2)

I forgot about a significant encounter we had in a coffee shop. After a Church service we went to meet some guys, and I had a word of knowledge and asked the Brazilian woman serving us if anybody needed healing. She was so funny, "what is healing"? She started asking the other staff what the word meant as she didn't know. The owner/manager? told her it is like what a doctor does. She says, "Oh yes, I need that ALL OVER". Anyway, the owner needed healing and let us pray. The Lord began to bring healing to his arm (later he said, "what if I don't believer"? to which I said, "as the Lord has begun to heal your arm, you are starting to believe". He smiled.) Then it was the Brazilian's woman's turn. She sat down with us and basically opened up to all the healing that the Lord would bring to her - for her heart, for her body. We ministered to her for quite a long time - prayed for her and released the Kingdom of Heaven. ...

Ireland - Day 3

I don't know where to start - as we visited some tourist sites and wandered around the streets of Dublin, we saw a number of significant healing miracles and prayed for literally several dozen people. A few of the highlights - and we had several different teams so I can't even summarize their stories! Saw an African muslim man radically healed after we were led into a store, got a word of knowledge and even the actual department the man worked in. He'd been attacked by gypsies (a racially motivated attack) and the Lord broke off the shock and trauma and healed his shoulder which led to an opportunity to share some powerful things about Christ. The Lord revealed by word of knowledge thing after thing about these two Iranian muslim girls - a girl's dizziness, the hearing problem for one of their sisters along with a skin condition. We got to pray for it all - the thing they were the most shocked about was that God was revealing things - God was speaking which m...

Ireland - Day 2

Word of knowledge at a Church service for a knee and it was healed - he testified in front of the congregation. This led to the praying for a number of others. That afternoon we saw the Lord touch a man's back in a shop - he could feel God's presence on him in a tangible way. in the evening, we had an evening with a group of believers where we did a lot of prophetic ministry and also words of knowledge leading to healing. so many different people were touched and healed that we completely lost track - great problem to have.
