A night of healing on the streets

I went out with some friends tonight with the intention of praying for the sick. We met up at a kiosk near the water where I immediately got a word of knowledge for a wrist. I felt a slight ache in my wrist, so I knew it was the Lord indicating to me that He wanted to heal someone with a wrist pain. We walked over to the counter at the kiosk and asked the people who worked there if any of them had a wrist problem. They didn’t. We left there and started walking along the waters edge. A Sri Lankan man came near to us on our walk, so I asked him if he had a wrist problem. He didn’t either, but he did have pain in his stomach. The man did not speak any English, but thankfully one of my friends spoke a language that was very similar to the Sri Lankan man. He was able to find out about the man’s stomach condition, and he allowed us to pray. We prayed, and Jesus showed up by completely healing the man’s stomach! Praise God! He was thrilled, as were we. From there we approached a few other people asking them about the wrist problem that God wanted to heal, but still we could not find them. We then came upon two men from India who were doing boat tours. Both of these men had throat and lung problems, to the point that they had a hard time breathing. One of the guys also had a bad hip that was in a lot of pain. My friend spoke to these men in there language so that we could really understand what was going on. If he had not been there it would have been another game of healing charades. We prayed and God healed the mans hip, and all the pain was gone. He tested it out by bending up and down and climbing up over the large steps that surrounded us. I also found out from my friend that when we had prayed for one of the guy’s lungs, he felt the Holy Spirit moving down his throat like a cool lozenge. Both of these men were healed and extremely touched by God. From there we approached a number of different people looking for the person with the wrist problem and got to pray for a few more people, in which another stomach pain got healed. God is in a good mood!

We then left the water front and met up with DJ on the other side of town. As we got out of our car we walked only about 50 meters before DJ asked a couple guys if they had a headache. As DJ was talking to these guys, about 15 to 20 other men from Nepal, India and Bangladesh began to circle around us wanting prayer. We prayed for headaches, backs, shoulders, knees and much more and saw about 16 miracles right there within about 20 minutes. Oh, and I found my guy with a wrist problem, and he got healed! In fact, two guys with wrist problems walked away pain free! Praise God! My friend from India who was praying with us was our secret weapon tonight, as he was able to speak the language of most of the guys we prayed for so that we could better communicate with them. He also moved in Healing power and saw God move through him for the first time in public.

After this healing service in the street, we headed over to a restaurant. We got side tracked and walked into this little hole in the wall place. We asked the people in there if any of them had any pain, but they were not responding for a while. Finally one guy chimed in that he had a back problem. We prayed and he got healed right there. This then opened up the door for others to confess that they too had pain. This one guy had a severe pain in his right hip. We prayed, and he got the biggest smile on his face! He started bending down and testing it out in the most unusual ways. I don’t even think I could bend in some of the positions this guy was bending. He tried everything he could to make it hurt, but it didn’t! God completely healed him of his hip problem, which happened to be the source of his diabetes problem. It was very exciting to see so many people get set free and have a love encounter with God. What fun!
